After a long battle with prostate cancer, Dennis chose VAD to leave this life, surrounded by his loving family.
Loved husband of Maree for 55 years.
‘I loved you your whole life, I will miss you the rest of mine’.
Much loved father and father-in-law of Trent and Chivonne, Emma and Greg, Jade and Sonia.
Devoted Poppy Pud to Jalyssa (Sissy), Jonty, Maclan, Zeke, Brody and Erika, Cailean and Jess and Seth.
Great Pop to Eleanor, Margot and Zoey.
Only son of the late Ray and Faye Hayes, and brother and brother-in-law of Carmel, Kathleen, Irene (all dec), Patrick, Annette and Robbie Riley.
Son-in-law of the late Connie and Trevor, and brother-in-law of Barbara and Lloyd Saward, Kaye and Ellis (dec) Bakes.
A loved uncle of his many nieces and nephews.
Family, friends, football and fishing were his life.

Family and friends of the late Mr Dennis Hayes are respectfully invited to attend a Service in Celebration of his life, which is to be held in the Chapel of Parkside Funerals, 254 East Cam Rd, Burnie, on FRIDAY, November 7, 2025, commencing at 1:30pm.
