When arranging a funeral it is important to remember that the Funeral Arranger is there to answer your questions concerning our fees and external disbursements (fees paid to other service providers i.e. Flowers, Newspaper notices).
We provide a written estimate of your choices at the time of the arrangement so there are no unexpected costs. We have provided below some of our most popular funeral choices to outline our fees, but we also can offer more choices and tailor something more suitable to your needs and budget.
Our Professional Service Fee covers the functions that need to be performed to operate as a funeral home. This includes:
24 hour availability of our fully trained, experienced, professional staff.
Provision and upkeep of modern vehicles, premises, utilities and staff costs.
Use and maintenance of our beautiful venues and grounds.
Preparation of relevant legal documents for statutory purposes (e.g. preparation of the Burial and Cremation Form, preparation and registration of the Record of Death with the Dept. of Births, Deaths and Marriages, etc.).
Our time to arrange the funeral (Liaising with churches, clergy or celebrant, organist, florist, cemeteries, RSL and sporting groups where appropriate).
Transfer of deceased person into our care during business hours (9am – 5pm).
Preparation and dressing of the deceased person for viewing.
Business hours viewing time for family members (9am – 5pm).
Lodging of newspaper notices.
Organisation of catering for mourners after the funeral.
Provision of remembrance book, hymn-sheets, etc.
Live-stream and recording of the funeral service.
Ongoing support after the funeral.
A Late Payment Fee will be added to the final account only if payment is not made by the agreed due date in accordance with our Terms of Engagement.
