Dearly loved husband of Marie (dec.). Loved and admired Dad of Leanne, Kelli (dec.) and John Hamilton. Adored and respected Grandad of Finn and Jarvis. Son of the late Herbert and Dorothy Hyland. Brother and brother-in-law of Peggy and Ken Stott, John, Peter and Pat, Margaret and Ken Hampton (all dec.). Special uncle to Phillip, Paul, and all his nieces and nephews. Life member of the Wynyard RSL and long-time brother of the Wynyard Masonic Lodge.
Private cremation per Desmond’s wishes.
