With heavy hearts and deep sadness we announce the loss of Shirley Spurr (nee Gale),
who passed peacefully at Burnie Private Hospital.
Special thanks to all staff who cared for her.
She was deeply loved by all and will be sadly missed by those who knew her.

Shirley is reunited with family she loved and is in the presence of her Saviour and Lord.

Family and friends of the late Mrs Shirley Spurr are warmly invited to attend a Service in Celebration for her life, which is to be held in the Chapel of Parkside Funerals, 254 East Cam Road, Burnie, on TUESDAY, August 5, 2025, commencing at 2:30pm. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Shirley’s generous spirit can be made at the service to Riverbend Camp. Dearly loved and cherished niece of Auntie Yvonne and Uncle Norrie (dec) Eaves and loved very much by her many cousins and their families. Beautiful Shirley will be so sadly missed by everyone, she would always welcome us with such a lovely smile. Precious memories will be held in our hearts of the special times we spent together.
